It feels rather narcissistic to fill up a page about myself when the site is for my students…so I’ll keep this short and sweet.

At one point in the distant past, I was a graduate student specializing in Victorian literature and science. In my spare time, I PC game and lounge with my Great Pyrenees puppy giant. Though I love creative writing, I rarely find myself in a position where I can devote the necessary energy to it, thus, I live vicariously through others (like my students). I once taught a course on children’s cartoons (“The Rhetoric of Subversive Cartoons”), but now I’m back home, where I feel most comfortable – betwixt pages and paper cuts, ghouls and ghosts, and 700 page volumes that might be a little bigger on the inside than they are on the outside.
